Skye at Waterscapes

Skye at Waterscapes

by Kelowna Real Estate on August 23, 2009

Striking a most impressive sight rising up from Brandts creek is the Skye highrise part of the Waterscapes development in downtown Kelowna.
The contemporary styled 26 storey residential tower we’ve been informed will be due for completion in early 2010.
The Waterscapes team recently held a “roof topping off” party to mark the latest construction phase.
With sleek glass and concrete design, expansive terraces and floor to ceiling windows, residents will have
some of the most incredible views in all of the Okanagan.

A little bit of trivia: The Skye tower will be the tallest building between the lower mainland and Calgary.

I grew up in Kelowna and there sure wasn’t many tall buildings like this one when I lived there. I now sell real estate in Calgary, and this is definitely looks like a condo building that would be on the Calgary real estate market. Kelowna is sure changing!

Miranda, thanks for your comments. Yes Kelowna is starting to feel very much like a city albeit still small one. Some very intersting changes taking place in the Kelowna Real Estate market. How is the market in Calgary?

Very curious–What is that the glass section at the top of the building?

Don’t worry about finding a place here, the developers in real financial trouble and is renting these units out for very little for what you get.

I was wondering exactly how tall the building is, if it is claiming to be the tallest between the lower mainland and Calgary.

If anybody has any leads on where I can get a rental in this building on anything above the 5th floor (2) bedrooms, with a view facing the lake it would be greatly appreciated if you could email me details! -Thanks!
